Yash offers prayers to Tirupati and Simmachalam temples ahead of KGF: Chapter 2's release
Yash and Sanjay Dutt starrer KGF: Chapter 2 is all set to be released this week. Fans are beyond excited for it. The cast has been leaving no stone unturned to promote the film. Talking about Yash, in particular, he recently visited Andhra Pradesh. The actor took blessings at Tirupati Lord Venkateshwara temple and Simmachalam temple in Visakhapatnam.
The actor was seen wearing a silk shirt and dhoti for the temple visit. Several photos of the actor offering prayers are going viral on social media. KGF: Chapter 2 is directed by Prashanth Neel. The action drama also stars Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Archana Jois among others in pivotal roles. The film is all set to be released in theatres on April 14. It will be released in five languages - Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The movie is bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner. Given the craze around the film, there's no doubt it will do exceptionally well at the box office. After a long wait, Yash starrer is finally releasing.
Earlier, in an interview with IndiaToday.in, Yash said that the essence of his character Rocky in KGF is inspired by Amitabh Bachchan's 'heroism'. He said, "Essence, belief system, heroism, hero-worship" was inspired by Big B but it has "nothing to do with any film."
He added, "But in general, the kind of films he used to make, the essence is same. What whole of India wants to see, at least whoever I meet, say they love those kind of films."
