Yash’s Toxic Postponed Again: Release Delayed, Makers Promise Bigger Global Launch
Yash’s much-anticipated film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has once again faced a delay, with the makers officially pushing back its release date. The film, which was earlier scheduled to hit theatres on June 4, will no longer arrive as planned, and a new global release date is yet to be announced.
Initially, the movie was slated for a March 19, 2026 release. However, it was postponed to June to avoid a box office clash with Dhurandhar 2 and due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East, which affected international distribution and promotional plans.
Now, the team has decided to delay it further. Addressing fans, Yash shared that the decision was not taken lightly and was influenced by multiple factors, including pending work and technical aspects. He emphasised that the makers want to ensure the film reaches its “fullest potential” on a global scale before its release.
Despite the postponement, excitement around the film remains high. Actress Rukmini Vasanth, who plays a key role, recently described the project as “unmatched” in scale and ambition, highlighting the film’s grand vision and unique storytelling approach.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is being mounted as a large-scale, multilingual project featuring an ensemble cast and a distinctive cinematic style. The film has already generated significant buzz due to its intriguing premise and Yash’s transformation for the role.
While the repeated delays have left fans eagerly waiting, the makers have assured that the final product will be worth it. With no confirmed release date yet, audiences now await an official announcement on when the film will finally arrive in theatres worldwide.
