Anushka Shetty is gearing up for her next film of Mahesh P with Naveen Polishetty and has gained extra weight to fit in the character’s shoes as per the reports

Shetty is currently working with Naveen Polishetty for Mahesh P's film in Hyderabad and to play the female lead in the film, she has gained weight according to the reports.
The ‘Bhaagamathie’ actress has reportedly piled up some extra kilos for the upcoming project, and this is the reason that she has been away from the spotlight. Even the makers are being careful and have given tight security is maintained so that the actress's look isn’t leaked. According to Pinkvilla reports, “Anushka has gained weight again for her role in the film. Interesting, she looks every bit confident and is leaving no stone unturned to get into the skin of her character. The makers have tightened the security on the sets and have made sure no photo of Anushka gets leaked online.”
Meanwhile, this film marks the comeback of the actress after a long break. The Baahubali actress has completed 17 years in the film industry. Earlier, the 40-year-old actress had also gained 20 kilos for the film ‘Size Zero’ to fit into the shoes of the character. Even for Baahubali: The Beginning, she lost some weight, and for Baahubali: The Conclusion, she gained weight to play Devasena and show the age difference.
