Malayalam industry’s one of the most credited actors, Bala enjoys a huge fanbase. Over the years he has impressed the audience with his character roles. He recently took to his official Facebook handle to share a selfie with his wife Elizabeth from the hospital. If reports are to be believed he was admitted to a hospital in Kochi due to liver-related illness in March 2023. After his condition worsened, he was advised to undergo a transplant surgery.

After undergoing a successful liver-transplant surgery, the actor took to his official social media handle on Tuesday to share his first post after the operation. Sharing the selfie with his wife, the actor can be seen smiling at the camera while there are bandages and tubes wrapped around him. Happy to see you smile.” Other wrote, “Bala, Take care always ur health.” Many filled the comment section with different heart emojis, loved up and strength emojis, asking him to take care of himself. 

On the work front, Bala was last seen in Malayalam film Shefeekkinte Santhosham. The movie was written by Anup Pandalam and starred Unni Mukundan in the lead role. While he has made a name for himself in the Malayalam industry, he has also worked in a few Tamil movies. According to Hindustan Times, he has a lot of ambitious projects in his pipeline including Bilal, Sthalam, and My Dear Machans.
