Malayalam television actor and mimicry artist Kollam Sudhi left for his heavenly abode at the age of 39. He breathed his last on Monday morning after his car got into an accident in Thrissur Kerala. His untimely demise has left the fans and the Malayalam industry in deep shock. As per the reports doing rounds, the late actor was travelling with three other artists Ullas Aroor, Binu Adimali and Mahesh.
According to Hindustan Times, Sudhi’s car collided with a truck at Kaipamangalam at 4:30 am on Monday. It is being reported that they were returning home after an event in Vadakara, when the accident took place. While the three others suffered injuries and are undergoing treatment, the late actor passed away due to head injury as they were taken to a private hospital in Kodungallur.
The police official shed light on the entire matter in an interaction with PTI. They said, “It was a head-on-collision. All of them were taken to the hospital but Sudhi lost his life. The other three are undergoing treatment.” Fans and the entire Mollywood industry have taken to social media to condole the loss of the late actor. Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan also paid his tributes.
For the unversed, Kollam Sudhi was a popular face of Malayalam television. He is known for his brilliant performance in the show Star Magic. His playful nature and bond with his co-contestants and his funny makeovers were lauded by the audiences. He made his debut as movie actor with Kanthari (2015) and received loads of accolades for his role in Kattapanayile Hrithik Roshan and Keshu Ee Veedinte Nadhan.
