Malayalam Actor ND Prasad DIES Due To ‘Mental And Domestic Issues’; Found Hanging From Tree Outside His House

Unfortunately, Malayalam actor ND Prasad, 43, who is known for his role in Nivin Pauly starrer - Action Hero Biju, was found dead at Kalamassery, near Kochi. The late actor is survived by his wife and two children. The late actor was found hanging from a tree right in front of his house, by his children.
On June 25, ND Prasad reportedly hung himself from a tree outside his residence. His children discovered the body and informed the neighbours, who then alerted the police.
According to the latest reports, family problems pushed Prasad to commit suicide. “He had been going through some mental and domestic issues. His wife has also been staying away from him for some months. He seemed to have been feeling depressed for the last few days before his death," said a police officer.
Earlier, ND Prasad was accused and booked for drug charges and in 2021, the excise department had arrested Prasad for the possession of synthetic drugs (2.5 gms of hashish oil and 15 gms of Ganja). Meanwhile, deadly weapons were also seized from him.
ND Prasad’s mortal remains were handed over to his family members on June 26 after doctors performed an autopsy.
Prasad had been in the news earlier for all the wrong reasons. He was accused and booked for drug charges. He was arrested in 2021 for the possession of synthetic drugs. Prasad had been a part of a lot of movies but his climax scene in Action Hero Biju, which was released in 2016 got him fame.
A report in New Indian Express suggested that family issues pushed Prasad to die by suicide. “He had been going through some mental and domestic issues. His wife has also been staying away from him for some months. He seemed to have been feeling depressed for the last few days before his death," said a police officer.
