Soorarai Pottru Fame Aparna Balamurali Gets Uncomfortable As A College Student Touches Her Inappropriately; Netizens Upset Over Authorities’ Lack Of Action
South actress Aparna Balamurali impressed the audience with her acting chops in Suriya starrer Soorarai Pottru. The actress was recently spotted promoting her upcoming movie Thankam alongside her co-star Vineeth Srinivasan and the entire team. During the event, a college student can be seen touching her inappropriately, making her uncomfortable.

In a video that is now going viral, a college student is seen getting up on the stage, as others cheer for him, he goes on to shake hands with Balamurali and pulls her out of her seat. He then goes on to put a hand around her shoulder so that they can click a picture. She gets uncomfortable, ducking from under his arms. While he goes on to fold his hands and apologise to her, netizens were left enraged at his behaviour and how no one intervened.

Sharing the video, one netizen wrote, “A college student misbehaved with actress Aparna Balamurali during the promotion function of Thangam movie. @Vineeth_Sree I'm surprised about your silence. What the hell  #Thankam film crew doing there.”

However, a few netizens also supported the guy as he seemed to have quickly realised his mistakes. Making a comparison on how even male celebrities must dodge female fans showing their affections, one wrote, “So the male actor should also have to dodge when female fans throw their bras at them…. I think the message is conveyed from both the sides… why only a male fan hype?”

On the work, Aparna was last seen in Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer action-thriller Kaapa (2022). She will next be seen in the Malayalam disaster thriller 2018 (2023).
