Bigg Boss Ultimate: Kamal Haasan Will No Longer Host The Reality Show Owing To Clash With Film Vikram; Says, ‘Impossible To Manage Both’
Kamal Haasan will not be hosting remaining episodes of the reality show 'Bigg Boss Ultimate' due to clash with his upcoming film ‘Vikram’
Superstar Kamal Haasan, who had been hosting the popular Tamil reality show 'Bigg Boss Ultimate', will no longer host the remaining episodes of the show. On Sunday, the actor issued a statement where he announced that he is "constrained to opt-out" of the show due to the clash of dates with his upcoming 'Vikram'. He explained that the production and post-production of Lokesh Kanagraj’s directorial was clashing with the shooting schedule of Bigg Boss Ultimate. Kamal asserted that practically it is impossible to manage both.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Kamal shared a statement that read, “The rescheduling of the production activities for Vikram that we are forced to do on account the lockdown and restrictions imposed, has unavoidably resulted in overlap of dates required to be allotted for Bigg Boss Ultimate. It would be unfair to make such eminent stars and technicians wait for me, considering their schedule and other commitments that they might already have. Consequently, I am now constrained to opt out of this season of Bigg Boss Ultimate for the remaining episodes after 20th February.”
On the concluding notes, the actor stated he is “overwhelmed and touched by their understanding on the constraints resulting out of this pandemic and consequent restrictions forcing him to exit from the remaining episodes of Bigg Boss Ultimate. “Till I meet you again in Season 6 of Bigg Boss, my best wishes to you all,” Kamal Haasan concluded in his note. Talking about the upcoming movie Vikram, besides Kamal, it also stars Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. Kamal Haasan is also producing the thriller under Raaj Kamal Film International.
