Dhanush Shoots For His Next Project In Tirupati, Leaves Devotees Irked; Local File A Complaint- Read REPORTS
Pan-Indian actor Dhanush is all set to make his Telugu industry debut with his upcoming Shekar Kammula directorial. While not much is known about the film, tentatively titled ‘DNS’, fans have been excitedly waiting to get a glimpse of the movie. The actor and his entire team recently visited the temple town of Tirupati to shoot for the film. However, this left the devotees arriving at the temple irked. They went as far as to file a complaint about it to the police.

According to the report by the Free Press Journal, the shooting of the upcoming Dhanush starrer turned out to be an inconvenience for the locals. He was shooting near the ghat to Alipiri because of which the vehicles, that were moving towards the temple, had to be redirected by the police and the bouncers. The diversion and roadblocks led to commotion and traffic jams around the temple. Devotees went on to question the police officials to know how they permitted the cast and crew of the movie to shoot at that spot.

As per the FPJ report, a few locals proceeded to file a complaint about the same and the police came to halt the ongoing shoot. However, despite the “little issue,” the crew finished shooting the film and the schedule wasn’t cut short by the cops. Photos and videos of the 40-year-old actor have surfaced on the internet where he can be seen dressed in rags with an unshaven face and unkempt hair. In the early hours of Wednesday, he was seen visiting the Tirumala temple to seek blessings from Lord Venkateshwara.

On the work front, Dhanush was last seen in Captain Miller. His upcoming next will reportedly star Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh in pivotal roles. If reports are to be believed the actor might be essaying the role of mafia in the untitled Shekar Kammula directorial.
