Etharkkum Thuninthavan: Suriya Wraps Up Shoot Of His Action Drama Film In Karaikudi; Director Pandiraj Pens A Heartfelt Note For The Actor

Suriya’s upcoming Tamil film has been titled Etharkkum Thunindhavan. The announcement came on actor's 46th birthday. The action drama film is produced by Sun Pictures and it has music by D Imman.

After shooting for 51 days in Karaikudi, actor Suriya wraps up shoot of his next action drama film Etharkkum Thuninthavan. Directed by Pandiraj the film has been shot in Chennai, Madurai, and Karaikudi. Taking to his social media handle the director announced the schedule wrap of the film. He wrote, "#EtharkkumThuninthavan #ET Completed 51 days long schedule today. Sun and rain couldn't stop our speed. what a hard-working team. unbelievable effort. Thank u @Suriya_offl sir @sunpictures @RathnaveluDop sir and everybody"


The makers had earlier released three posters from the film, on the actor's birthday. They also revealed a first look video of the actor which created a lot of buzz for the film. Etharkkum Thuninthavan promises Suriya in an action-packed role and is touted to be a village subject with a strong social message. The film also features Priyanka Arul Mohan as the leading lady. Actor Satyaraj will also be featured in a pivotal role.  Produced by Sun Pictures the film is expected to hit theaters on December 24.
However, as per the latest reports, the next schedule of the film will begin in September second week in ECR, Chennai. The film also marks the filmmaker’s maiden collaboration with Suriya. Meanwhile, Suriya has a line of film for release. His next is with Vetrimaaran titled Vaadivasal, which is based on a popular Tamil novel of the same name. It is a story about a bull and the one who captures it. Suriya will be especially learning bullfighting for the same. The actor awaits the release of Jai Bheem, which is scheduled to release in November this year on Amazon Prime Video.
