Days after Kamal Haasan tested positive for COVID-19, Shruti Haasan says he is recovering well
Kamal Haasan recently tested positive for the novel coronavirus. In his tweet on Monday, the veteran actor had revealed that he returned from the US and was down with a slight cough. The translation of his Tamil tweet read, "After I returned from my America trip, I had symptoms of light coughing. When tested, it was confirmed that I have Covid-19. I have isolated myself at a hospital. Let's all understand that the pandemic is not over yet and behave accordingly. Stay safe."
On Wednesday, Shruti Haasan shared an update about her father's health. The actress took to Twitter to share that he is recovering well and also thanked his fans for their wishes and prayers.
In the tweet, she wrote, "Thank you for all your wishes and prayers for my father's health. He is recovering well and is looking forward to interacting with all of you soon." Kamal is on the verge of wrapping up the shoot of his upcoming film Vikram, also starring Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. The movie marks the first collaboration of Kamal and director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Earlier this year, he confirmed that he is penning a script for Mahesh Narayanan. Mahesh and Kamal earlier worked together on the action drama Vishwaroopam. He also has Indian 2 in his kitty. He had earlier revealed that 60% shoot is complete and efforts are being put to finish the pending shooting soon. The movie also stars actress Kajal Aggarwal.
