Amidst the recent Cyclone Michaung's havoc and consequent flooding, even the home of Superstar Rajinikanth hasn't been spared. A fan captured a video showcasing the affluent streets surrounding the actor's residence, now transformed into waterlogged zones, depicting the dire situation in the Poes Garden area. The footage, taken by a fan riding a scooter, reveals the inundated streets around the actor's house. The lanes appear submerged, and even the guard's station is shown with water seeping in. While Rajinikanth is currently away in Tirunelveli for the shooting of his upcoming project, "Thalaivar 170," directed by TJ Gnanavel, he has yet to address the situation at his residence. A compelling rescue unfolded on Tuesday in Chennai's Karappakkam area, involving badminton player Jwala Gutta, actor Vishnu Vishal, and superstar Aamir Khan, who were rescued via boat from a flooded street. Following the rescue, actor Ajith Kumar, popularly known as "Thala," met with Khan and Vishal. Notably, Ajith arranged transportation for the two actors and the residents of the villa community where they were accommodated during the crisis.
In the aftermath of Cyclone Michuang's havoc in Chennai and its neighbouring districts, the populace continued to contend with issues such as standing water and power outages in certain areas of the city and its suburbs, persisting days after the calamity struck.

Professionally, Rajinikanth is currently engaged in the filming of "Thalaivar 170," a grand project boasting a stellar cast comprising Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati.
