On the eve of Vijay's 46th Birthday, the makers of Thalapathy 65 have released the title and the first look of the film on Twitter.

Superstar Vijay who will be celebrating his 46th birthday tomorrow was treated with a big surprise. As a pre-birthday gift director Nelson Dipkumar and Sun Pictures unveiled a brand new poster of the actor from the film. In the poster, Vijay looks killer in a rugged look wearing a white vest, black pants, holding a sniper.  Along with the poster, the team also revealed the title of the film. Superstar Vijay who enjoys a massive fan following is creating a huge buzz for his 65th film; the anticipation for the film is huge among his fans. Beast is one of the most awaited film of Vijay’s which is touted to be an action entertainer. Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, the film stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead. The music is been composed by Anirudh Ravichander while cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa is roped in for the film.

Vijay had kicked started the shoot in Georgia in March and wrapped the first schedule in 20 days.  In April the makers had even shared a photo of Vijay and Nelson Dilipkumar chatting on the sets of Thalapathy 65 in Georgia. The film also features Aparna Das, Shine Tom Chacko, VTV Ganesh, and Yogi Babu

The latest reports suggest that the team will soon resume the shoot in Chennai. It is said the second schedule will begin with a song, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, however, more details regarding the shooting are awaited. Beast is expected to release next, year 2022.
