Reacting to the video, one Instagram user wrote, "Bro genuinely you are my favourite artist from now on coz first it was ali ali and then the malayalam grandma song then this 🔥 bruh i mean keep continuing this series." Another user commented, "This men + Indian songs = 🔥"

Previously, a remixed version of ‘Patakha Guddi’ by Diorange received over 19 million Instagram views.

He also made available a second reel that demonstrated how he produced the song by taking the voices from the original and adding a powerful bassline, some glitches, ambient sounds, and flute samples.

Kalakkatha’s remix sung by Nanjiyamma and created by Jakes Bejoy, was recently released by the artist, and it too quickly gained popularity. Nanjiyamma won the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the song.
