Viruman: Actor Karthi Unveils His Next, A Tamil Family Entertainer Directed By Director Muthaiya

The Kollywood industry's favourite siblings duo, Karthi and Suriya are ready to be back together for their upcoming film "Viruman" directed by Muthaiya and produced by Suriya and Jyotika.

The famous Tamil actor, Karthi who has been shooting, director Mani Ratnam's upcoming film "Ponniyin Selvan" for the past two years has finally revealed his new project with his brother and actor, Suriya. Karthi will be seen in a lead role in the upcoming film "Viruman" produced by Suriya and Jyotika, directed by Muthaiya, under their home banner, 2D entertainment. 

Recently, Actor Suriya took to his official Twitter and shared this good news with his fans. He shared an official poster of "Viruman" and wrote, "Excited to present our next with my @Karthi_Offl a beautiful family entertainer directed by @dir_muthaiya #Viruman #விருமன் @thisisysr @prakashraaj #Rajkiran @AditiShankarofl @sooriofficial @rajsekarpandian @selvakumarskdop @ActionAnlarasu @jacki_art @U1Records In cinemas 2022!" Karthi will be seen playing the male lead and director Shankar's daughter, Aditi will be seen playing the female lead, this also marks her acting debut in Kollywood. Talking about the film, Viruman is a rural entertainer filled with family drama. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing music for the film while actors like Prakash Raj, Soori and Raj Kiran will be playing important roles. Viruman will go on floors in Theni, Tamil Nadu, on September 18.

Meanwhile, Actor Karthi recently confirmed that he will be playing the role of "Vandhiyathevan" in director, Mani Ratnam's upcoming blockbuster, Ponniyin Selvan. Ponniyin Selvan is an adaptation of a historic novel by Kalki Krishnamurthy and it is set to release in 2022.
