At the 2016 SIIMA awards, Allu Arjun had the privilege of presenting the 'Best Actress' award to Nayanthara for her outstanding role in 'Naanum Rowdy.' While accepting the award, Nayanthara conveyed her appreciation and pleasantly surprised Allu Arjun's fans by expressing her desire to receive the award from director Vignesh Shivan instead.
