South superstar Rajinikanth’s much-awaited film ‘Annaattthe’ is finally on the silver screen entertaining the audience on the occasion of Diwali 2021. The movie received a mixed response on the internet. The avid fans of the superstar who watched the movie on the very first day of its release were seen mentioning in their reviews that they have liked the actor’s performance in the film, they are disappointed in the manner the makers executed the film. According to the audience, movie is melodramatic and could not keep the audience engaged. 

Penning reviews on Twitter one of the users wrote, “First half is entertaining. Good pacing. Comedy & songs worked well. Straight forward commercial festival entertainer!” Another person tweeted, “Annaatthe a fitting festival movie for entire Tamil Nadu audience! B&C sureshot blockbuster.” One more user rating the film 2.5 stars tweeted, “Finished watched #Annaththe with family very bland writing and cliched screenplay. #Rajinikanth sir's mannerisms and style are only takeaways rest all crap.. 80's feel...#Siva seriously needs to work on his scripts. my rating 2/5....#Peddanna (surprisingly my mother liked it)
