The 7th season of Bigg Boss Telugu came to an end last Sunday, December 17, when YouTuber Pallavi Prashanth was announced as the winner. The host Nagarjuna lifted the trophy alongside him, leaving his fans extremely excited. Actor Amardeep Chowdary was announced as the first runner-up. However, it all went south after the grand finale of the controversial reality show. It was reported by various media publications that Prashanth’s fans had vandalised the cars of the contestants and celebrities that had graced the episode. 

As videos and photos of the incident started circulating on the internet, the Hyderabad police booked Pallavi and his admirers for creating a ruckus and vandalising vehicles outside the Annapurna Studios on Monday early morning. As per the videos going viral, it is seen that a mob has gathered around the studio and is smashing the windshield and mirrors of Chowdary’s car. The fans went as far as to pelt stones on buses and other private vehicles.


Owing to the mess created by the ardent fans, cases have been registered against the YouTuber and his followers. The accused are being identified based on the CCTV footage. Well, now according to a recent report by the Free Press Journal, the police had reached Pallavi’s village to look for him. However, they were unable to trace him. It is being reported that he has escaped in the wake of his arrest news. His phone has been switched off and he is nowhere to be found. 

FPJ further reports that the person driving the car on Sunday, Sai Kiran, has also been taken into custody. Former BB Telugu contestants Ashwini Sree and Geetu Royal have also lodged a complaint as their vehicles were also damaged. 

For those who don’t know, Pallavi Prashanth won the show with maximum votes from the audience. Not only did he take home the trophy, but also a cash prize worth Rs 35 lakhs. Apart from him and Amardeep Chowdary, Arjun Ambati, Priyanka Jain, Shivaji, and Prince Yawar were the other finalists of the show.
