After delivering power-packed performances in Hindi films like ‘Dhadak’ and ‘Gunjan Saxena’, Janhvi Kapoor is all set to make her Telugu debut. She will be seen in Karan Johar’s upcoming production ‘Jana Gana Mana’ with South heartthrob Vijay Devarkonda. The movie will be directed by Puri Jagannadh and is bankrolled by KJo’s Dharma production. While there is much curiosity amongst fans regarding the film, we bring you some exciting details about this highly-awaited project.
According to the latest report in Bollywoodlife.com, the shoot of Vijay and Janhvi starrer will begin by February end and the entire shoot will be wrapped in August. The movie will be wrapped up during the release of Vijay and Ananya Panday’s movie Liger. The report added that the shooting of Janhvi’s Telugu debut will begin in the USA in February and the filmmaker has already started its pre-production. They are currently busy wrapping Liger so that they can move on to this project.
The source was quoted as saying, “The team is gearing up to leave for the USA in the first week of February and will be filming crucial portions on Vijay Deverakonda and others in this schedule. Puri is determined to complete the entire production by August and release the film in the last quarter of this year."
Talking about the film, an insider revealed to the portal that the 'Jana Gana Mana' will highlight social and political issues. This is the first time that Vijay and Janhvi will be seen together on the silver screen and their fresh pairing looks quite promising.
