SS Rajamouli’s critically acclaimed movie RRR has garnered a lot of international attention ever since it’s release. Jr NTR and Ram Charan along with the director have been touring the world and promoting the film. As the movie bagged nominations at the Golden Globes 2023, NTR and Rajamouli were seen getting together during an interaction and recalling shooting for the film.

During the screening of the movie at the Directors Guild of America Theater, NTR opened up about shooting the iconic song Naatu Naatu and SS Rajamouli’s techniques as a director. He further went on to explain that they shot Naatu Naatu on the last leg of the film. The 39-year-old actor continued, “Finally, by the 21st or 22nd night, we stopped apologising and said let’s get it done. And that’s when he brings his bazooka, called Naatu Naatu. We’ve done complicated steps, but Naatu Naatu is not about the steps being complicated, it was the synchronisation, which Rajamouli stressed on.”

Talking about his iconic scene where Bheem jumps out of a vehicle along with wild animal during a party at the Britishers’ palace, he said that he was never told how the scene would look like. He was blown away when he saw the end product. The movie received a standing ovation at the event.

Released in 2022, the movie has also been shortlisted for Orscars 2023.
