After the massive success of Pushpa, Sukumar is rumoured to be reuniting with his ‘Rangasthalam’ star Ram Charan for an upcoming project.

Sukumar is one of the best filmmakers in the Indian film industry, who has been redefining the art of storytelling through his unique vision and direction. His ability to gather some of the finest actors and deliver outstanding performances has touched the hearts of everyone. Having delivered several blockbusters over the years, ‘Rangasthalam’ is Sukumar’s biggest film before the Pushpa franchise. The film starred global star Ram Charan along with Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Jagapati Babu in the lead roles.

As the film marks 8 years of its release today, Sukumar took to social media to celebrate the occasion by posting a special video from the making of the film. The video captures the candid moments of the behind-the-scenes of the filming, glimpses of the shoot, and the beautiful relationship between Sukumar and Charan.

Sharing the video, the filmmaker wrote, “Celebrating 8 years of #Rangasthalam ❤️‍🔥
A film that captured hearts, created history, and redefined storytelling. A true blockbuster that continues to live on in every cinema lover’s heart ❤‍🔥 Mega Power Star @AlwaysRamCharan @aryasukku @Samanthaprabhu2 @ThisIsDSP @MythriOfficial @sukumarwritings”

The much-awaited reunion of Ram Charan and Sukumar is expected to be the latter’s next big film after the huge success of the Pushpa franchise. Sukumar has cemented his position as one of India’s leading directors today, largely fueled by the phenomenal success of the Pushpa franchise starring Allu Arjun.

The film emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film domestically, setting a benchmark that Dhurandhar 2 may soon break. Adding to the excitement, Sukumar is also gearing up for Pushpa 3: The Rampage with Allu Arjun, making his upcoming slate even more highly anticipated.
