Peddi Postponed Again? Ram Charan Starrer Likely Delayed As Dhanush’s Kara Eyes Solo Release

Ram Charan’s much-awaited film Peddi is reportedly facing yet another delay, with fresh buzz suggesting that the film might not make its scheduled April 30, 2026 release. While there is no official confirmation from the makers yet, industry reports indicate that the film could be postponed once again due to unfinished work.

According to reports, several portions of the shoot are still pending, including a special song featuring Ram Charan. These delays in production, along with ongoing post-production work, are said to be the primary reasons behind the possible shift in release plans. If the postponement happens, this would mark the third delay for the film, which was initially slated to release on March 27, 2026, before being pushed to April 30.

Another factor contributing to the delay is Ram Charan’s minor injury during the shoot of an action sequence. The incident temporarily halted filming, further impacting the timeline of the project.

With Peddi likely moving out of the April 30 slot, Dhanush’s upcoming film Kara is expected to benefit significantly. If reports hold true, Kara will enjoy a solo release on the same date, giving it a clear window at the box office in both Tamil and Telugu markets.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that the makers of Peddi are now considering a new release window, possibly targeting late May or June 2026. This shift is aimed at avoiding box office clashes and ensuring a smoother release for the big-budget film.

Despite the repeated delays, the team appears focused on completing the film properly rather than rushing it to theatres. Fans, however, continue to await an official announcement regarding the revised release date.
