Rajinikanth's Daughter Aishwaryaa R Dhanush To Make Her Comeback As Director After Six Years With A Bilingual Thriller-Deets INSIDE
Filmmaker Aishwaryaa R Dhanush is returning to direction with an upcoming Telugu family entertainer under Lyca Productions.
South superstar Rajinikanth's daughter and filmmaker Aishwaryaa R Dhanush is set to again don the director’s hat for the upcoming bilingual thriller film for producers SubasKaran and Mahaveer Jain under Lyca Productions. Aishwaryaa made her directorial debut with 2012 movie 3, which featured her husband, actor Dhanush in the lead.
Aishwaryaa is beyond thrilled and excited to helm this project. In a statement, she said, “I’m so excited to direct this film and with Lyca backing this project. Our collective endeavour will be to bring a much needed, family entertainer for our pan-India audiences.” Her Telugu flick has been written by Sanjeev and the cast and crew of this untitled Telugu film are yet to be finalised.
Aashish Singh, CEO Of Lyca Productions, shared, “We are thrilled to have Aishwaryaa on board to direct our first Telugu production. We are confident that this film will captivate and entertain audiences across the country.”
While announcing the movie, Lyca Productions wrote on their social media accounts, “Lyca Production's Producers #Subaskaran & #MahaveerJain sign @ash_r_dhanush to Direct a bilingual thriller, Written by #Sanjeev. This family entertainer will be Presented by Lyca Productions. #aishwarya_r_dhanush #aashishsingh (sic).”
With this movie, filmmaker Aishwarya R Dhanush will make her comeback as a director after a gap of six years. Aishwaryaa is known for directing movies such as Vai Raja Vai, Veeran, and 3.
