Pushpa: The Rise leading pair Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna is basking in glory after the massive success of the movie on the OTT platform. Now there are reports, the success of the first part has got lead pair to ask the hike in their remuneration. As reported in Koimoi.com, the actress has asked for a 50% hike in her professional fees. Thus, getting the actress to charge Rs. 3 crore for her next, Rashmika use to earlier charge Rs 1 crore per movie, but now with the success of her latest outing, she demands more.
It is also reported that the makers have also agreed to the actress’ demand, as according to them, she deserves it. If this news turns to be true, she will be getting paid the highest in her career. For Pushpa: The Rise she had charged Rs. 2 crore remuneration. Coming to Allu Arjun, who signed for the dotted line on the remuneration of Rs. 30-32 crore, has now asked for a hike in his fees by Rs. 2 crore. The actor has asked for it for the second installment of Pushpa.
Well, seems like now there is no looking back for the leading duo.
Director Sukumar told IANS, I have shot some portions for the film but then, these will have to be reshot. I will have to shoot the entire film and we intend to start shooting in February next year. The movie was released on December 17 in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi and revolved around red sandalwood smuggling activities taking place in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh.
