Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu released an official statement and confirmed their separation.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya are one of the most loved pairs of the South Indian film industry. They fell in love on the sets of their film 'Ye Maya Chesave'. They tied the knot in Goa, in a Hindu religious ceremony on 6 October and a Christian ceremony on 7 October in 2017. Since then, they have been giving fans major relationship goals. However, lately, there have been rumours that their marriage is in trouble. They had maintained silence on the same. However, on Saturday, they released an official statement and revealed that they have now decided to go their separate ways. Yes, you read that right!
After a month of separating rumours, they took to their respective Instagram accounts and announced that they are heading for divorce. They released an official statement that reads, "To all our well wishers. After much deliberation and thought, Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe we always hold a special bond between us."

Samantha has switched off the comments for this post. Reacting on Naga Chaitanya's post, one of his fans wrote, "U both were my favourite couple... so shattered I'm." Another wrote, "The end we never expected." A third user dropped a comment saying, "This broke my heart."
