Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently made headlines after she dropped her surname ‘Akkineni’ from social media platforms, fuelling her separation rumours with husband Naga Chaitanya. The couple has since kept their fans on tenterhooks. It was also reported that Samantha’s father-in-law Nagarjuna has been trying to mend things between her and Naga.
Samantha has now again hit the headlines. She deleted a tweet, referring to Nagarjuna, and reportedly posted again by adding 'mama' in it. Mama is a Telugu word, which means father-in-law.
Nagarjuna, on Monday, posted a message on Twitter remembering his father Akkineni Nageswara Rao on his birth anniversary. Samantha dropped a comment on the post referring to Nagarjuna without the word ‘mama’, which means father-in-law in Telugu.
However, the actress, according to news portal Pinkvilla, later deleted it and shared her comment again with the word ‘mama'.
Nagarjuna remembered his father and legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao aka ANR and shared a video in which he called the actor as his “inspiration” and “hero.” In response to the tweet, Samantha wrote, “This is so beautiful.” Interestingly, in the first tweet, she wrote the comment and tagged Nagarjuna. But she was quick to delete the tweet and add “Mama” while addressing Nagarjuna. She also used several emojis to express her emotions for the video.

A few days ago, Samantha was spotted on a temple visit where she was asked about her divorce rumours with Naga Chaitanya. However, the actress snapped at a reporter saying, “I have come to a temple, don’t you have any sense?”
