Samantha Ruth Prabhu has left everyone mighty impressed with her brilliant dance moves in the song ‘Oo Antava’ from Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise. The foot-tapping peppy dance number has become a rage on social media with netizens and celebrities going over the song. But did you know Samantha took a lot of convincing for starring in the song? It is being said that it was only after Allu convinced her, Samantha finally agreed to do the number.
Not just that, the actress also charged a whopping Rs. 5 crore for this three minutes song. According to a report in IWMBUZZ, Samantha was given close to Rs 5 crore for ‘Oo Antava’. A source close to the production told the web portal, “Oh, she has charged a bomb for the Oo Antava dance number. Believe me, she was very reluctant. The film’s leading man Allu Arjun personally took the effort to convince her. They had to pay her close to Rs 5 crores for that 3-minute dance number. She had some reservations about some of the dance movements. But gradually she got into the groove and didn’t demand that even one step be changed.”
To note, as per the latest buzz, Samantha is now being considered for yet another sizzling dance number in the sequel to Pushpa. On a related note, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, Oo Antava has been sung by Indravathi Chouhan and its lyrics have been penned by Chandrabose.
