Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been climbing the steps of success. Not only has she established herself as a credible actor in the South industry, but she is slowly paving a way for herself in Bollywood as well. While it's natural for fans to go the extra mile to admire their favourite celebrities, a die-hard fan recently made the headlines for building a temple for the actress in his house on the occasion of her birthday. 

Yes, you read that right! Tenali Sandeep, a self-proclaimed fan of Samantha, built a temple in her name in the premises of his home in Alapadu village of Bapatla district in Andhra Pradesh. He went on to unveil her statue and cut a cake during her 36th birthday. The pictures of the celebration are currently going viral on social media. In the collage, the statue can be seen draped in a red saree and green blouse, situated under a board that says, ‘The Temple Of Samantha.’ ALSO READ: WHAT! In an interaction with ANI, Sandeep expressed how he had always been a huge fan of the Family Man 2 actress’ work. He revealed that he wanted to build a big temple, but wasn’t able to do so due to financial constraints. He went on to share how not only does he admire Samantha for her performances, but also for her charitable work. He told the news agency, “Samantha took the initiative to perform heart operations for needy children through a foundation. As she herself hails from a humble background, she always stands for the needy ones. This incident made my admiration double for her.” ALSO READ: LEAKED Online! On the work front, Samantha was last seen in the mythological drama Shakuntalam, which focuses on the daughter of Menaka and Vishwamitra, the first abandoned child in human history, Shakuntala, her fight for her love King Dushyanta and the repercussions she faces because of the same. The movie failed to impress the audiences and the critics at the box-office. Apart from that, she has Citadel co-starring Varun Dhawan, Kushi alongside Vijay Deverkonda and Arrangements Of Love in her pipeline.
