Ever since actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu dropped the Akkineni surname from her social handles, rumors are that all is not well in the lover's paradise. As per some reports Tollywood's favorite couple, Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya are estranged now. The duo hasn't officially spoken about it but the rumour mills are abuzz of things are not great between them. However, it was actor Nagarjuna's birthday on August 29, and daughter-in-law Samantha made a birthday post on social media for him. Samantha wrote on Twitter, "No words can describe my respect for you. I wish you an abundance of health and happiness, today and always. Happy birthday to the man, the phenomena  @iamnagarjuna mama.

Recently in an interview with Film Companion, Samantha refused to comment anything about the rumours that were floating around about her divorce from Chaitanya Akkineni, however, opened up about trolls, she said, “The thing is, even with trolling for The Family Man or this, I don’t react to them. That is how I have always been. I don’t react to this kind of noise and I don’t intend on doing so as well. I will speak when I have to speak and when I feel like saying something. I will not be bulldozed into saying something.”

Samantha and Chaitanya got married to each other in 2017 in a lavish yet private wedding. As soon as she dropped the last name, the actor was heavily trolled on social media platforms. But as the actress penned a heartfelt tweet for her superstar father-in-law, Nagarjuna Akkineni on his birthday, fans have been hailing Samantha for such a sweet gesture.
