Seetimaarr: Gopichand and Tamannaah Bhatia's Sports Drama To Hit Screens On THIS Date

Directed by Sampath Nandi, Seetimaar is slated to hit the theaters in September. Initially, the film was scheduled to release on April 2nd. But it was postponed owing to Coronavirus. Now after much delay, the makers have finally announced the new release date.

Seetimaarr: Gopichand and Tamannaah Bhatia's Sports Drama To Hit Screens On THIS Date

On Tuesday, the makers of Gopichand and Tamannaah Bhatia's sports drama film Seetimaar announced the new release date. After much delay, the most-awaited film of the actors will hit the theatres on 3 September 2021. After a couple of back-to-back flops, actor Gopichand has placed high bets on this sports drama film. As reported, the film is an out-and-out action entertainer and will see the macho actor in a never-before-seen avatar. The makers in the past have shared several intense posters from the film. Taking to Twitter the makers wrote,' Mark the date and lock it! We are Loading on Sept 3rd, Only in theatres.'



The film has been extensively shot in various locations throughout India last year. In March, the makers wrapped the film and had slated to release the film in theaters on 2 April. However, the release had to be put on hold on several occasions owing to Coronavirus. The film directed by Sampath Nandi is based on the Kabadi sport and Gopichand will portray the role of an Andhra Pradesh coach, whereas Tamannaah plays Jwala Reddy, the coach of the Teleganan all ladies hockey squad. Seetimaar also features, Bhumika Chawla, Posani Krishan Murali in important roles. The upcoming Telugu film is being bankrolled by Srinivasaa Chhitturi, under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen.



 Meanwhile, Gopichand is busy shooting for Pakka Commercials that is directed by Maruthi and the film is expected to release next year. On the other hand, Tamaannah recently shot with Vijaysethupathi for Master Chef Telugu.
