Raghu Babu’s car rammed into a motorcycle of a 50-year-old politician killing him on the spot, a video of the incident is currently going viral on social media
Telugu actor and well-known comedian Raghu Babu got into a fatal accident on Wednesday. As reported by the Free Press Journal, on Wednesday, his car, which his driver drove, rammed into a motorcycle. The accident killed a 50-year-old politician, who was riding the motorcycle. The deceased has been identified as Sandineni Janardhan Rao, Narketpally’s town secretary. He belonged to the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).
The media publication reports that the accident took place on the Narketpally-Addanki highway as the actor was on the way to Hyderabad. It was on Wednesday afternoon when the actor and the politician got into a fatal accident. Raghu’s car brutally rammed into Rao’s motorcycle as the latter was taking a U-turn on the highway. The report adds that the motorcycle was thrown 50 m away due to the car’s speed during the collision.

Locals and medics rushed towards the spot as soon as the accident took place, however, the Janardhan was declared dead on the spot. A shocking video of the 59-year-old actor is going viral on social media. Seated in the passenger seat of his car, he explains his stance about the accident to the passersby. As per the report by the FPJ, the police have registered a case against the actor after a complaint by Rao’s wife. An investigation has been launched by the local police.
It is to be noted that, Raghu Babu is yet to issue an official statement on the horrific accident. For the unversed, he is the eldest son of one of the most beloved Telugu comedians, Giri Babu. He has worked in around 300 films including Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram and Chiranjeevi's Bhola Shankar among many others.
