Vikram: Kamal Haasan To Visit Chennai’s Theatre To Greet Fans For The First Show At 4 Am; Breaks THIS Old Tradition Of Rajinikanth And Thalapathy Vijay
South superstar Kamal Haasan’s latest offering ‘Vikram’ which is touted to be the most gritty action thriller releases tomorrow, 3rd June. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the movie also stars Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. Vikram, which is made on a huge budget, has been making headlines since its announcement. As the thriller releases tomorrow, Kamal Haasan will reportedly be visiting Chennai’s Rohini Silver Screens to greet the fans on the first day first show.

Yes, you read that right! As per the latest report in Indian Express, the Uttama Villain actor will visit the theatre tomorrow at 4 am. By doing so, Kamal will break the tradition followed by other South superstars such as Rajinikanth, Thalapathy Vijay, and Ajith, who have stopped promoting their movies. Unlike Haasan, these A-listers no longer indulge in activities to promote their movies. They have stopped media interviews, and TV show appearances altogether for a long time now. They attend only audio launches.

Now, it seems like Kamal Haasan is breaking their tradition after many years. He has been actively promoting ‘Vikram’ on different platforms. He also went to Delhi for the media interviews. Meanwhile, Trade expert Ramesh Bala predicts that “Vikram will do big in Tamil Nadu. It would do very well in Kerala also because Fahadh Faasil is there. In Karanataka, too, Vikram will also take a big opening because Kamal Haasan is hug there, too.”  “Overall, Vikram should open to Rs. 40-45 crore gross across India. It's difficult to say how much it'll open at in the North, but Vikram probably take a decent start there, too. Vikram is probably releasing on 1500 screens because Jayantilal Gada (the Hindi distributor) has managed it,” Ramesh added.

Vikram is scheduled to release in theatres on June 3 in five different languages – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
