On Sunday morning, Hyderabad police arrested Tollywood actor Naga Babu's daughter Niharika Konidela along with 140 others for partying at a pub at odd hours. Cops raided the pub at Radisson Blu Hotel in Banjara Hills around early in the morning where they reportedly found cocaine and other drugs. Along with Niharika, several other well-known personalities were also found partying beyond the permitted hours including Tollywood singer Rahul Sipligunj.

Coming back to the case, today Niharika was questioned by the officials regarding the late-night party and was later allowed to leave.

Meanwhile, Naga Babu released a video claiming that his daughter came out clear and all the news that is surfacing on the internet is fake.

In a video shared by him, he said, "The reason I reacted to the incident that occurred last night at the pub was that my daughter Niharika was to be there by that time. Police have taken action against the pub that runs beyond the time limit. As far as Niharika is concerned, she is perfect, and she did not take any drugs."


He added, “Not to be spreading unwanted rumors on social and mainstream media, I have come forward to give you clarity through this video. We have a clear conscience on the matter. I request you not to spread unwanted rumors about Niharika. Thank you.''
