Uorfi Javed was recently spotted engaged in a brawl with an elderly man who commented over the bold and skimpy outfit she chose to wear at the Mumbai airport.
The Bigg Boss OTT contestant has been in a constant skirmish with the public and the trolls, who have often rendered some of the most offensive and lewd remarks about her bold and outlandish sartorial choices. In the merely past three years, Uorfi has created her identity and emerged as a torchbearer for wearing striking and unconventional ensembles in public. Many have clearly expressed their disappointment over her fashion choices and the statements that pique her interest.
Despite all the backlash and criticism, Uorfi is proud of her choices and she has maintained that she won’t do things differently.
The social media sensation was spotted at Mumbai airport on July 24, and just when she started interacting with the paps, an elderly onlooker began his moral policing of the actress.
However, Uorfi isn't the one to be messed with and she gave it right back! Interestingly, a video of the spat has surfaced on the internet and netizens are having a field day issuing support to the actress.
"Allowed nahi hai India mein aisa kapda. India ka naam kharab kar rahe ho," the man is heard telling Uorfi in the video.
The actress clapped back at the onlooker with a befitting reply and said, "Aapke baap ka kya jata hai? Jao apna kaam karo."
A furious Uorfi also abused the man before she walked towards her car.
The recent incident occurred after Uorfi was spotted returning to Mumbai after her Goa vacation.
Naturally, the video invited mixed reactions from the netizens. However, in an unforeseen turn of events, some issued support to the actress and questioned how does wearing skimpy clothes leads to ‘India being defamed?’ Reacting to the video one user simply wrote, ‘Sahi Jawab’. Another wrote, “Isse India ka naam kyu kharab hoga😂”. A third user commented, “She got my respect after she talked about Manipur”.
The former Bigg Boss OTT star, who is known for her bold way of living, faced sexual harassment while she was on her way to Goa. Taking to her social media handle, Uorfi shared a video in her Instagram stories and wrote about how a group of young men started harassing her sexually on the flight. She narrated her ordeal in a note as the video featured a few young, drunk men sitting behind her seat.
