Former Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Monika Bhadoriya has made some shocking allegations against the show’s producer Asit Kumarr Modi. She shared her ordeal with the media after Jenifer Mistry accused Asit of sexual harassment. In a new interview, Monika revealed that Asit held her dues of three months for over a year and that she had to fight really hard to get her money from him. Not just that the actor, who played Bawri in TMKOC, also alleged that the producer threatened to ruin her career.

Speaking with E-Times, Bhadoriya claimed that Asit Modi threatened her that he won’t let her work in Mumbai. She was quoted saying, “I had to fight for my hard earned money for one year even then they were not ready to release the payment. When I told them enough, now I’m going to file a complaint with CINTAA. That's the time they panicked and released my payment. During my entire six years journey with Taarak, I never got the payment that was decided. He would go back on words, saying I don’t remember what was decided. Further talking about Asit’s threats, the actress added, “Asit Kumarr Modi threatened me that he will not work in Mumbai. I was already going through the mental trauma of losing my mother and here he was threatening me to ruin my career. It had an impact on my career actually. I struggled to work after that. It impacted my life and career.”

Monika even accused Asit Modi of misbehaving with her on the sets. She left the comedy show in 2019 after being a part of it for 6 years. It was reported that due to payment issues and bad working atmosphere Monika left the longest-running TV show.
