Netizens brutally troll Ekta Kapoor after ALT Balaji shares a new bold poster of Gandii Baat season 6
Ekta Kapoor is coming back with an exciting new season of her controversial web show Gandii Baat and the makers recently dropped a new poster from it. The photo showed a woman wearing bold Indian attire in a shush pose with a lotus near her waist and two peacocks on the sides. Soon after this poster surfaced online, a certain section of people expressed their resentment over the same and slammed Ekta for mocking Goddess Lakshmi.
Several netizens took to Twitter to troll Kapoor and urged people to boycott her shows. Lashing out at the producer, one user tweeted, “These are the woke people they never miss a chance to defame only one religion to make bollywoodia gang happy.” Another said, “Ban #ektakapoor serials. Spoiling society be her serial.” A third user reacted, “ALT Balaji belongs to Ektaa Kapoor, Balaji is present in the name itself, but the work is completely opposite, soft porn is served in it, if you are not satisfied with that, then created a similar thumbnail like Goddess Lakshmi, but a dirty woman was made to sit on the lotus. While netizens trolled Ekta assuming she is the head of ALT Balaji, earlier this year it was reported that Ekta and her mother Shobha Kapoor have stepped down from their positions as the head of the ALTBalaji OTT platform. The digital streaming company will now be managed by Vivek Koka who will serve as the Chief Business Officer. She announced the same via a statement on her Instagram handle revealing that it is a strategic decision taken by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor to focus on other projects. The producer also mentioned in the statement that the procedure of stepping down was initiated in 2022 and now ALTBalaji will be managed by a new team.
