Over the years, comedian Sunil Pal has entertained the audience with his witty remarks and comic gigs. He often takes to his official social media handles to share his views on ongoing matters in the entertainment industry. He recently took to Instagram to share his views about his fellow comedian, actor Kapil Sharma’s comedy show The Great Indian Kapil Show going off-air after a month of airing on Netflix. The makers of the show pulled the plug due to low TRPs. In the video, Pal expressed his happiness about the show ending.
In the video shared on Instagram, the 49-year-old shared his take on the makers of The Great Indian Kapil Show airing its last episode. Expressing his happiness, he stated that an OTT platform like Netflix doesn’t deserve an artist like Kapil Sharma. He went on to state that while he was sad for the Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon actor, Sunil revealed that he had warned him about this. He was heard saying, “Achha hai aapka show band ho raha hai. Elaborating on his worry, Pal stated that he was worried when Kapil’s show was announced on OTT as the platform has mostly “vulgar, double meaning content,” adding that they also show “nudity”. Taking a dig at the OTT platform, Netflix, the comedian added that they don’t want talented people. However, they want content that has abuses. He went on to advise Kapil to return to the small screen and suggested that his co-stars Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda must not appear on any other shows. Well, it seems like Sunil Pal’s take didn’t go down well with the netizens as they slammed him for being happy that Kapil’s show didn’t work out despite the hype around it. One wrote, “Tu to kush hoga kapil Ka show close ho raha hai isliye Tu to jallu aadmi hai.” Another commented, “Kya fuddu fuddu video dalte ho APNA koi show start karo Kuch Naam kamao Kuch paisa kamao kud ko comedy NAHI aati business show to kar sakte ho u are vary depressed men koi talent NAHI hai.”
