Nia Sharma revealed how her friends questioned the bold attires she donned in awards functions
Nia Sharma is one of the television actresses who has remained in the news for her bold choices when it comes to her roles on-screen or her clothing. The actress who is on several occasions being slammed for her over the top style sense has opened up on it. The Naagin star in an interview with Bollywood Bubble stated how her friends have questioned her on the lipsticks she wears and clothes she slips into during her public appearances.
Nia shared with the portal, “I was told, ‘Why do you use these weird lipsticks? It doesn’t look good. After all, you are from TV.” She further added how her bold attires were compared to being almost naked by her friends only. She added, “Why do you walk naked in award functions? I have said naked in English, but I was told this in Hindi, and by my only friends.” Well, Nia has made head turns and left jaws wide open with her red carpet looks on several occasions.
The Twisted actress also mentioned how her pictures on social media platforms have affected her relationship. The actress shares her partner were not comfortable with the pictures she posted on Instagram. She said, “A few times, somebody I would be seeing, they had problems with the image portrayal on social media. I did not understand, how is that hampering a personal equation? I never could understand. Social media is social media, why can't we keep it aside.”
