One of the longest-running shows Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is all set to bid adieu to its viewers. But before it goes off-air, the makers have decided to keep their viewers hooked with the spin-off of the show. The new show titled Yeh Hai Chahatein will see Abrar Qazi, who was seen in Sajid Ali film’s Laila Majnu, will play Sargun Kaur’s love interest in the show. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein saw the unusual bond between a Tamilian dentist, Dr. Ishita Iyer played by Divyanka Tripathi and a Punjabi businessman, Raman Bhalla played by Karan Patel, who come together to raise the latter’s daughter Ruhi.
As the spin-off will soon kick-start, YHM’s leads Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel will introduce the characters of the new show, which will focus on Ishita’s niece. Talking about the same Sargun told Mumbai Mirror, “I feel blessed to get a chance to work with Ekta ma’am so early in my career.” Further, when Abrar and Sargun were asked about the pressure of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s loyal fanbase, he said, “Ours is a very different story, so we are not worried. It’s a completely fresh take.”(ALSO READ: Karan Patel DECLARES: “I Am Out Of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein”- EXCLUSIVE)
