Adaa Khan To Play Sunil Grover’s Wife In Star Plus’ Next, Kanpur Wale Khuranas

A few days back, it was reported that Kunal Kemmu will make his TV debut with this show. And now SpotboyE.com exclusively brings you another update. Naagin fame, Adaa Khan has also joined the cast of the show and will be seen playing Sunil’s wife in the show.

The sexy actress was last seen in Colors TV’s Naagin series. She is soon doing her fiction comeback on TV as the main lead of upcoming show, Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara. And about Kanpur Wale Khuranas, it is not for the first time that the actress is trying her hand in the comedy genre. Before this, Adaa had participated in successful comedy shows like Comedy Nights Bachao and The Great Indian Family Drama.


Talking about the storyline of the show, it revolves around Sunil Grover and his six attractive saalis (sister-in-laws). The jija-saali and wife trio will indulge in banter and take you down memory lane on major happenings in many spheres of life in 2018. This show is said to be an 8-week affair, stretching over 16 episodes, to be aired on weekends.


Kunal Kemmu will be seen playing Sunil’s saala on the show. Kemmu spoke to Bombay Times, a few days back about the role, “I am both nervous and excited, as it’s a new space that I am exploring. I have known the makers, Neeti and Preeti Simoes, since a long time. They would always joke that we should do something together, as they felt that I am fun and natural. I took this up because it’s not a long-term commitment. Besides, it will also help me test waters and give me an opportunity to understand the medium. I would also get to know how comedy shows work on TV, because I have always been on the other side of the fence.” Other than Sunil Grover, Kunal Kemmu and Adaa Khan, show also features Ali Asgar and Upasana Singh.
