There were several reports recently of singer and TV host Aditya Narayan going bankrupt due to the COVID-19 lockdown. Following this news goodwill gestures left the actor-host overwhelmed. In conversation with Indian Express when the news of Aditya Narayan facing a financial crunch hit the internet, he received many calls from his industry colleagues, extending their support towards him. Now this kind gesture from the industry colleagues left him overwhelmed. The actor expressed that there are indeed people in the industry who genuinely care for him.

He said, “I was shocked when so many people started calling me after the report. I must, however, admit that I was also touched because a lot of friends in the industry offered help. That goes to show that they genuinely care for me.” The reports which led to Aditya getting phone calls lending their support came after it was reported that Aditya has used up his savings, and him being left with only Rs. 18,000 in his account. News also mentioned Aditya planning to sell off his belongings if he does not get work by October 2020.

But soon he clarified that he is not bankrupt during his conversation with Tellychakkar,  he said, “It’s unprecedented times, and none of us had ever imagined sitting at home for months. I did face a tough time like many others, but I am not bankrupt. Everything is fine now, and I hope things take a turn for the better from here.”
