Splitsvilla fame Aditya Singh Rajput’s untimely demise has left everyone in shock. At the age of 32, it is being speculated that he passed away from a drug overdose. While his fans are awaiting the officials to reveal the reason behind his sudden passing, his last Instagram post and story are currently going viral on social media. Netizens have even taken to the social media handle of the actor to express their shock and dismay.
Talking about the same, Aditya shared his last Instagram post centering the topic ‘happiness’ on May 17, 2023. He shared the reel with the caption, “What is happiness according to you?” In the video, he questions what happiness is. He goes on to explain how happiness is eating food cooked by one's mother, getting cuddles after a long day at work, playing with one's dog, spending quality time with one's best friends. He completes his monologue by saying, “But happiness is nowadays money also. But more importantly, happiness is finding happiness in little things. For that, you don’t need a lot of money. Of course, money is important, but happiness is more important, and inner peace is more important.” Fans have taken to the comment section of his social media post to express their shock and disappointment.
For the unversed, he was found dead by his friend in the bathroom of his 11th floor apartment in the Lashkaria Heights building, Andheri. A day before he died, the late actor had taken to his Instagram stories to share updates on his clothing label Pop Culture Hi-Street Fashion and other brand collaborations. Sharing a picture of a rooftop restaurant complete with neon lights, he wrote, “Sunday Funday with besties,” in the caption.
Born in Uttarakhand but settled in Delhi, Aditya started his career in the entertainment industry as a child actor. He has featured in many Bollywood movies like Krantiveer, Love and Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara, among many others. Apart from that he has also been a part of over 300 advertisements. He has worked in several television serials and web shows like Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Bad Boy Season 4, Aawaz Season 9, Gandi Baat and Splitsvilla Season 9.
