After Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan testing positive for COVID-19, it was TV actor Parth Samthaan who announced that he has contracted the virus too. He who plays the role of Anurag Basu in Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 took to his social media account to announce that he has been tested positive and all those who have been close to him in last 10 days should also get the test done. Soon, mastermind Vikas Guppta made a few tweets talking about young people and Coronavirus.
Giving an advice to all, Vikas Gupta wrote, "It’s extremely selfish just because you are young & #covid won’t kill U doesn’t give you the right to take chances with other people’s lives who works with you & they go home to their kids & parents. Wander-Lust both can wait for few more months #StayHomeStaySafe." Soon he also made some edits to the tweet as it included profanities.
Though he did not take anyone's name, netizens were quick to judge and come to a conclusion. However, Vikas cleared the air in his next tweet and stated that the tweet was not pointed at anyone. He wrote, "Idiots who think it’s was a dig at someone can go take a broomstick ride to Nirvaana. Its meant for people to be extremely careful cause that can save lives #Covid19isGettingCloser #StayHomeStaySafe."
