Annu Kapoor, who is best known for hosting musical reality shows and some of the stellar performances on the big screen, is all set to return to the world of television. The actor impressed everyone with his last film Jolly LLB 2 and will be now seen in STAR Plus' upcoming show, Anupamaa starring Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey. 

The show which is being produced under the banner of Rajan Shahi's banner Directors Kut seems to have a good mix of popular faces from TV and Films. Recently, we had told you about Madalsa Sharma joining the show. And now, it's Annu Kapoor who has come on board. 

A source close to the show told us, "Annu Kapoor has already started shooting for the show. It was yesterday when we shot for his first sequence with protagonist Rupali Ganguly. His character will be extremely entertaining. He will play a crucial role in Anupamaa's life".

Talking about the show Anupamaa, which is going to air from July 13, is an official Hindi remake of the iconic Bengali show, Sreemoyee aired on Star Jalsha. The show revolves around a homemaker who dons multiple hats and leads a hectic life.

The show was supposed to premiere before the lockdown and a promo had also been released announcing it's start date, which was March 16. However, due to the sudden change in the situation, it went on a halt. And then SpotboyE.com was the first one to get you the release date of the show. 

Coming to Annu Kapoor joining the team, well, we're sure his fans must be eagerly waiting to see the senior actor entertain them once again.
