Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Aurra Bhatnagar, Sudhanshu Pandey, and others, the show's makers recently introduced a 5-year leap. Today’s episode starts with Toshu asking Anupamaa if she has any queries regarding the event. As she denies it, he reminds his mother that he wouldn’t have time for her lat minute panic. He tells her to go to her table and start preparing. Anu feeds Toshu curd and sugar and reminds him that he was always a bright student. That he would accomplish everything he put his mind to.
Toshu reassures her and Kinjal, before leaving. Anu starts grinding spices when Kinjal asks her if she is comfortable with Anuj’s presence at the event. Anu tells her she is. Back in the Shah house, Vanraj and Baa bid goodbyes to the family as they leave for the airport. Baa gets emotional leaving Babuji behind. They remind each other to take care. Vanraj tells Pakhi, Kavya, and Dimpy to stay in the house and take care of the kids. He ignores Mahi as she gives him a card. Anuj comes and starts helping and talking to Anu as she needs help. Anu asks Anuj about Shruti’s whereabouts, who informs her that the latter has gone to her parent’s with Aadhya.
Yashdeep and Vikram come there and interrupt them. Yashdeep asks Anuj to focus on his work. As Anuj leaves, Anupamaa sprains her leg but refuses to apply medication. Pakhi accuses Kavya and Dimpy of leaving the house at night to meet Tapish. They clarify to her that they are going to buy stationery for the kids. They try to make her understand that she should concentrate on healing herself and become the mother Ishaani deserves. Someone brings a hot bag to Anu and she sees a note from Anuj. She gets emotional.
As Anuj watches Anu from afar, Aadhya comes there and starts emotionally blackmailing him. She reminds him of Shruti’s sacrifices. However, it is later revealed that it is all just Anuj’s imagination. In the upcoming episode, Anu sees goons harassing Toshu and goes there to save his life. Yashdeep comes and helps her with bags as Vanraj opens the doors of the house. Anu gets shocked seeing a smirking Vanraj in front of her.
