Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Aurra Bhatnagar, Sudhanshu Pandey, and others, the show's makers recently introduced a 5-year leap. Today’s episode starts with Anuj questioning Anupamaa why she left him and Choti after their fight five years ago. She tells him that she was burdening him with her baggage. Anuj apologises to her for lashing out at her back then as he was very angry. Anu asks him not to apologise as whatever he said to her five years ago was true. Vanraj looks at the CCTV footage and sees that Dimpy is standing on the lawn. He thinks that he has no problem with Dimpy seeking happiness but he is afraid of losing Ansh.

Anupamaa tries to convince Anuj by reminding him that she couldn’t entirely become his wife as she had other responsibilities towards the Shahs. She tried to solve the matter but she couldn’t, which is why she left. Anuj tells her that every couple goes through a rough patch, which doesn’t mean they leave each other. As Anu reminds him how angry he was back then, he tells her that he had the right as they were husband and wife. He tells her that she could have fought with him, and made him understand her point of view then at least they would not have to lie like soulless people. As Anuj and Anu keep having a heart-to-heart conversation, with the former continuously professing his love for his ex-wife, she reminds him that Aadhya will have a very hard time since she hates her and loves him. Shruti witnesses this and bursts out crying. Anu gets shocked seeing Shruti standing there. Shruti starts recalling everything. On the other hand, Ishani and Mahi rush to DImpy and tell her that even they want to learn dance. They ask her where Tapish is and she calls him. He talks to them and tells them that he misses them. He asks them to come to the dance academy so that he can meet them. When Mahi tells him that her fighter might beat him for meeting them, Tapish tells her and Ishani that he is ready for a beating if he gets the chance to meet them. Dimpy overhears everything. As the episode comes to an end, Anu and Shruti run away from Anuj. they are both about to be hit by a car when Anuj saves Shruti and a stranger saves Anu’s life. In the upcoming episode, a distraught Anu collides with Kinjal. She talks to her about everything that has happened and blames herself for ruining Anuj’s life. Kinjal tries to pacify her. On the other hand, Shruti asks Anuj what is left to talk now.
