Anupamaa SPOILER ALERT 17 January 2023: Kavya Lashes Out At Pakhi For Questioning Her About Mahi; Anuj Plans To Forget His Past
Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Aurra Bhatnagar, Sudhanshu Pandey, and others, the makers of the show, recently introduced a 5-year leap, which has left the fans with mixed reactions. Today’s episode starts with Vanraj getting upset after Mahi hugs him. He goes from there without talking to anyone. Mahi questions if her father doesn’t love her. Quickly deflecting the question, Dimpy tells her that everyone is very happy that she has returned. 

Back in America, Shruti interrupts Anuj who is making laddoos in the kitchen. As Shruti helps him, Anuj apologises to her for telling her to leave the room when he was talking to Aadhya. She tells him not to worry about it. He decides to focus on his future and thinks that Aadhya is right. He needs to forget about his past with Anupamaa and focus on the future he is building with Shruti and Aadhya. Back at the Shah house, before Kavya can speak to Baa, Pakhi interrupts and taunts her. Pakhi questions why Kavya brought Mahi home instead of going to stay with her. As Kavya explains that Mahi was feeling lonely and sick, Pakhi suggests that she should have just bought toys and dresses for her. 


Kavya lashes out at Pakhi and explains to her that kids need their parents' love and not toys, because if that were the case then children would never slip into depression. On the other hand, Toshu informs Kinjal that he saw Anu but doesn’t want to talk to her, which leaves her shocked. Anuj and Anuj light their lanterns. They make their own wishes. While Anu wishes for everyone’s betterment, Anuj wishes to meet Anu one last time so that he can get closure. They fly their lanterns in the sky, which get stuck. Back at the Shah house, Kavya and Dimpy witness Ansh and Mahi bickering. Tapish plays with the kids and is about to fall when Dimpy catches him. Kavya tells Tapish to not give up on Dimpy, who leaves the room after Pakhi taunts her.

In the upcoming episode, Dimpy and Tapish sign something to each other, while others are enjoying kite flying. Vanraj asks them what is going on, when Dimpy tells him that Ishani is missing.
