Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Aurra Bhatnagar, Sudhanshu Pandey, and others, the show's makers recently introduced a 5-year leap. Today’s episode starts with Anuj celebrating Anu’s birthday by lighting a candle on a cake. He reminisces about tying Gajra to her hair. He gets teary-eyed and poetic. He thinks about how he used to celebrate her birthday since their college days and cuts the cake. 

Anupamaa prays to God and thinks that she is staying in Kinjal’s house to find Paritosh, as he would certainly reach out to Vanraj for help. Pari brings her a card and tells her that she made it with Kinjal’s help. As Anu gets happy, she sees that an angel has 10 hands. Upon asking, Pari tells her that it is because Anu is like Superman or Spiderman who is perfect in every work. Pari calls Anu her Super Dadi. Kinjal wishes Anupamaa on her birthday after Pari leaves for school. Baa and Vanraj come there and ask if there is something special. Kinjal reminds them that it is Anu’s birthday.


Baa taunts Anu and tells her that they didn’t remember about it as she had cut off all contact with them. Anu says that even when she had maintained relations with them, they never remembered her birthday. As she recalls the past, Anupamaa tells Baa that she doesn’t remember anyone remembering her birthday. Vanraj taunts her and asks if Anuj didn’t send her a bouquet. Aadhya pleads with Anuj to not hurt Shruti, as she has been with them when they needed her the most. She tells him that she shouldn’t snatch her mother away. Shruti overhears their conversation. 

As Vanraj and Baa try to pry details about Yashdeep and Beeji from Anu, she reminds her ex-husband to find Paritosh or else she will send the video proof to the police and they will find him their way. Dimpy expresses her happiness towards Kavya as she prepares to go abroad. Kavya reassures her that Anu will be there for her and will take a stand for her. As they come to the kitchen they see Babuji cooking custard. He reminisces about Anu, on her birthday, and promises to have everyone’s back as he couldn’t do it with Anupamaa.

Yashdeep and Beeji give Anupamaa and birthday surprise and reveal that they will be selling her tea powder. Everyone from the restaurant celebrates Anu’s birthday and Beeji tells her that according to the restaurant’s rules, it stays closed on an employee’s birthday. On the other hand, Kinjal informs Baa and Vanraj that Yashdeep and Beeji have thrown a birthday party for Anupamaa. In the upcoming episode of the show, it will be seen that in the midst of Anu’s birthday celebration, Anuj and Shruti arrive there. The latter wishes Anu and gives her their wedding invitation card.
