Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Aurra Bhatnagar, Sudhanshu Pandey, and others, the show's makers recently introduced a 5-year leap. Today’s episode starts with Anuj asks Shruti if they can’t stay together as friends like they had done before. Shruti tells him that she might have stayed with them if they were friends, but now that there are feelings involved she can’t stay. Aadhya gets shocked watching them and questions them.

She asks them what is going on and Shruti tells her that she is leaving. Aadhya asks her if this is all because of Anupamaa. Aadhya tries to convince Shruti to stay back and states that she has seen a mother in her for the last four years. Anuj agrees with Aadhya and tells Shruti that she has become an integral part of their lives. After much back and forth between the three, Shruti stays adamant about her decision to leave the house. She leaves, which causes to Aadhya throw a full-blown tantrum. Anuj tries to pacify his daughter, but she turns on him and promises him that she will stay stubborn until Shruti returns. 


Back in the Shah house, as Dimpy thinks of Tapish, Vanraj sees her and worries about her. He thinks that he must know what happened to her and what she is hiding from him. Tapish tries to message Dimpy. She is busy cleaning the house, when he vows that he will not let her back off. Vanraj calls everyone. As they sit, he asks Baa and Bauji to visit America with him. On the other hand, Anu rushes to Kinjal’s house after a call. As she inquires about everyone’s well-being, Kinjal tells Anu that Anuj has offered Paritosh a job in his company. This leaves Anu shocked. 

In the upcoming episode, Anuj comes to Aadhya’s room but finds her missing. He calls Anu to let her know the same. Vanraj tries to convince Babuji to come to America with him. As Aadhya sits on a bench at night, she is followed around by a goon. As she shouts for help, Anupamaa comes there and beats up the goon. A shocked Aadhya tightly hugs Anu, who tries to console her.
