Actor Nitesh Pandey’s sudden passing has left his fans and the television industry grieving. Many have taken to their social media handles to mourn his loss and share their condolences to his family. He was last seen in Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa, where he essayed the role of Dheeraj Kapoor, Anuj Kapadia’s best friend. While the actor has left a lasting impression on the audience with his powerful performance on the show, fans have been left curious about his track on the show.

As per recent reports, Dheeraj, who was one of the biggest MaAn supporters on the show, was supposed to get married to Devika, Anupamaa’s best friend. However he gets discouraged seeing Anuj in pain because of Choti Anu’s departure from his life because of Maya. While Dheeraj stood by his friend during his toughest time, with the late actor’s passing it will be a waiting game to see what the makers will plan for the character. For the unversed, the actor passed away late on Tuesday night at the age of 51, due to a heart attack. He breathed his last in Igatpuri, Maharashtra. According to new reports, the police have set up an inquiry at the hotel where Padey was staying. The hotel staff and people close to him are being questioned as they await the postmortem reports. Hailing from Uttrakhand, Nitesh got married to actress Arpita Pandey in 2003, after they met each other on the sets of Justajoo. He was earlier married to actress Ashwini Kalsekar.
